About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a brand‑new SaaS product built for remote‑first teams. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to design and embed security controls from day one, ensuring the platform is resilient against emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Define the security architecture for the greenfield product, including network segmentation and zero‑trust principles.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments aligned with the product roadmap.
• Develop and automate security monitoring scripts using Python on Linux servers.
• Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines and review code for vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to embed security requirements into user stories.

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Proficiency in Python for security tooling.
• Hands‑on experience securing Linux environments.
• Ability to perform penetration testing and vulnerability remediation.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security (AWS/GCP).
• Familiarity with container security tools.
• Certifications such as OSCP or CISSP.
