About the role

BlueSky Ventures is building a next‑generation platform to enable real‑time data exchange across multiple services. We need an experienced Microservices Architect to design, implement, and oversee a robust microservice ecosystem that supports high availability and rapid feature delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end microservice architecture aligned with business goals.
• Define API contracts, versioning strategy, and communication patterns.
• Implement containerized services using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Mentor development teams on best practices for scalability and resilience.
• Monitor performance, conduct root‑cause analysis, and optimize resource usage.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in microservice design and implementation.
• Strong Java development background with RESTful API experience.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience building scalable, fault‑tolerant systems.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring tools.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of event‑driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
