PHP Developer for CMS Customization

About the role

We are expanding our digital content platform and need a focused PHP Developer to build and enhance core backend services. You will work closely with product owners to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new APIs and extend existing ones using PHP and Laravel
• Design and optimise MySQL database schemas for performance
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Collaborate with front‑end and DevOps teams for seamless releases
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best‑practice guidelines

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP (3+ years)
• Hands‑on experience with Laravel framework
• Solid understanding of MySQL and query optimisation
• Familiarity with version control (Git)

Nice to have

• Experience with RESTful API design
• Knowledge of Docker or containerisation
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
