PHP Developer for High-Volume Legacy PHP Migration

About the role

TechFlow Inc is enhancing its release pipeline with a focused test automation uplift. We need a PHP Developer to design and integrate automated regression suites that lower launch risk and speed up feedback loops.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement PHP‑based test frameworks for core services
• Integrate Selenium/WebDriver or Cypress scripts with existing CI pipelines
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to prioritize high‑impact test cases
• Maintain test data factories and mock services in MySQL
• Document test coverage and provide clear failure analysis

Must-have skills

• Strong PHP development experience (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Laravel ecosystem
• Solid MySQL schema design and query optimization
• Hands‑on with test automation tools (e.g., Codeception, PHPUnit, Selenium)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker containers for test environments
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP) for scaling tests
• Knowledge of performance testing and load simulation
