About the role

CoreData Systems is building a robust test automation uplift to cut regression risk before each product launch. As a Python Backend Developer you will design and implement the automation framework that powers our release pipeline, ensuring reliability and speed.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop the "TestPulse Engine" using Python 3.11, focusing on modular test case generation.
• Integrate the engine with existing CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to trigger nightly regression suites.
• Write and maintain RESTful services that expose test results to internal dashboards.
• Containerize the automation stack with Docker and orchestrate with Docker Compose for reproducible environments.
• Collaborate with QA leads to define test coverage metrics and report flaky test patterns.
• Document API contracts and onboarding guides for future developers.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python development experience, including async programming.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL for storing test metadata.
• Design and consumption of REST APIs.
• Hands‑on Docker usage for development and CI pipelines.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as pytest or Robot Framework.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (Locust, JMeter).
