About the role

Pinecrest Systems is modernizing its financial workflow by linking billing, CRM, and internal APIs. As a QA Automation Engineer you will own test automation for the BillSync Engine, the core module that orchestrates data flow between these systems. You will work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration and high reliability throughout the short‑term project.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end Selenium test suites for the BillSync Engine using JavaScript and WebDriverIO.
• Develop API validation scripts in Postman/Newman to verify data consistency across billing, CRM, and internal services.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI pipeline (GitHub Actions) and maintain flaky‑test mitigation.
• Collaborate with DevOps to provision Docker‑based test environments mirroring production configurations.
• Produce detailed defect reports and track resolution progress in JIRA.
• Deliver a test‑coverage dashboard by project week three to highlight risk areas.

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of test automation experience with Selenium or WebDriverIO.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js for scripting tests.
• Strong knowledge of REST API testing tools (Postman, Newman).
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of Agile Scrum processes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized test environments.
• Exposure to billing or CRM systems integration.
