REST API Developer – Service Reliability Delivery

About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a focused sprint to tighten CI/CD pipelines and automate platform releases. We need a REST API Developer who can embed automation hooks into our existing services and accelerate delivery cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and extend RESTful endpoints that trigger build, test, and deployment workflows
• Integrate GitHub Actions or similar CI tools with our Node.js services
• Write scripts to provision PostgreSQL schemas automatically during releases
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed monitoring and rollback logic
• Document API contracts and automation sequences for future teams

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL and schema migrations
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes for containerized deployments
• Familiarity with Terraform or similar IaC tools
