About the role

CloudWave Digital is building a next‑generation visual quality assurance platform called VisionGuard. As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer you will lead the test automation uplift, designing vision‑based regression checks that catch defects before product launch. Your work will directly reduce release risk and accelerate delivery cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement an end‑to‑end visual regression framework using Python, OpenCV and PyTest.
• Integrate the framework with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to run nightly image‑based tests.
• Develop synthetic data generators to simulate edge‑case scenarios for UI components.
• Collaborate with QA leads to define acceptance criteria and threshold metrics for visual diffs.
• Document test cases, maintain a shared repository of baseline images, and automate baseline updates.
• Provide weekly progress reports and demo automated test runs to stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of computer vision experience, especially with OpenCV and TensorFlow.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD integration for automated testing.
• Experience building visual regression suites for web or mobile applications.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and unit tests.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS S3, Lambda) for storing baseline assets.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) for reproducible test environments.
