About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is building a next‑generation recommendation engine to personalize user experiences across its platform. We need a senior Data Scientist to design and implement advanced predictive models that drive real‑time decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, train, and validate machine‑learning models using large‑scale datasets.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production pipelines.
• Perform feature engineering and data preprocessing in Python and SQL.
• Monitor model performance and implement continuous improvement cycles.
• Document methodologies and present findings to stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and complex query optimization.
• Ability to design and consume REST APIs for data retrieval.
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling and machine‑learning algorithms.
• Experience deploying models in cloud environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with JavaScript for data visualization.
• Background in A/B testing and experiment design.
