About the role

Summit Digital is modernizing its operations data flow. We need a DevOps Engineer to design and automate a scalable data pipeline that feeds analytics dashboards for our ops teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end data ingestion and processing pipelines on AWS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins for pipeline code.
• Containerize ETL components with Docker and orchestrate them via Kubernetes.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for data reliability.
• Collaborate with data analysts to ensure schema evolution is handled smoothly.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for production workloads.
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline creation and automation.
• Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash) for data workflows.
• Understanding of data lake and warehouse concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of data security best practices.
