Senior DevOps Engineer Needed for Infrastructure Automation

About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching the Astra Deploy sprint to accelerate release cycles through end‑to‑end CI/CD and platform automation. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will drive the design, implementation, and scaling of automated pipelines that cut deployment time in half.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and codify the Astra Deploy pipeline using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Implement GitLab CI/CD runners with Docker‑in‑Docker for multi‑stage builds.
• Containerize legacy services and migrate them to a Kubernetes cluster on EKS.
• Set up automated canary releases and blue‑green deployments with Argo Rollouts.
• Configure monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation via Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
• Document pipeline standards and conduct knowledge‑transfer workshops for the engineering team.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS, S3, IAM).
• Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
• Strong command of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Hands‑on expertise in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
• Scripting fluency in Bash/Python for automation tasks.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Argo CD or Spinnaker.
• Experience with security scanning tools (Trivy, Snyk).
