About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a critical integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, deploy, and fine‑tune the container orchestration layer that will power seamless data flow across these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement a Kubernetes cluster tailored for high‑throughput API traffic.
• Containerize existing services with Docker, ensuring consistent builds and rollbacks.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment of billing, CRM, and internal API components.
• Monitor cluster health, set up alerts, and optimize resource allocation for cost‑effective scaling.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to embed service meshes and secure inter‑service communication.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Docker containerization.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, networking, and security.
• Proven DevOps practices: CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and logging.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with billing platforms or CRM integrations.
• Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
• Knowledge of Terraform or Helm for infrastructure automation.
