About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Frontend React Developer to reinforce the UI layer, ensure secure data handling, and integrate hardening controls without disrupting user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and audit React components for security best practices
• Integrate token‑based authentication and CSP headers
• Collaborate with backend engineers to validate API security contracts
• Write unit and integration tests focused on vulnerability scenarios
• Provide documentation for secure UI patterns

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in React, hooks, and state management
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with OWASP guidelines and secure coding
• Strong debugging and performance tuning abilities

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) security services
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments
