Senior Microservices Architect – System Integration Engagement

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is creating a high‑throughput data pipeline to empower operations teams with real‑time analytics. We need a Microservices Architect to design, build, and govern the core services that ingest, transform, and expose data across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define microservice boundaries for ingestion, enrichment, and analytics layers
• Architect event‑driven communication using Kafka or similar technologies
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes for zero‑downtime deployments
• Establish observability, tracing, and alerting standards
• Collaborate with data engineers and product owners to align architecture with business goals

Must-have skills

• Proven experience designing microservice ecosystems in Java
• Deep knowledge of Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
• Strong understanding of data streaming, messaging, and API design
• Ability to produce clear architectural diagrams and documentation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apache Flink or Spark Structured Streaming
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
• Background in operations analytics or monitoring platforms
