About the role

NexGen Media is modernizing its operations data pipeline. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, implement, and tune data flows that feed analytics dashboards used by operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect scalable MongoDB collections for high‑velocity ingest
• Build ETL pipelines that transform raw event streams into analytical datasets
• Implement aggregation pipelines and indexes for fast query performance
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate MongoDB with downstream BI tools
• Document schema designs and data governance guidelines

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with MongoDB schema design and performance tuning
• Proficiency in JavaScript/NodeJS for data processing scripts
• Understanding of data modeling for analytics workloads
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code and documentation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud‑native MongoDB services (Atlas, etc.)
• Experience with containerization (Docker) for pipeline deployment
• Knowledge of real‑time streaming frameworks (Kafka, Pulsar)
