About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a rapid CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles. We need a PHP Developer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune pipelines that push code from repo to production with minimal manual steps.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Automate environment provisioning, testing, and deployment for PHP/Laravel services
• Integrate static analysis, unit, and integration testing into the release flow
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA to ensure reliable rollbacks and monitoring
• Document pipeline architecture and create runbooks for the team

Must-have skills

• Strong PHP experience with Laravel framework
• Proficiency in MySQL database design and optimization
• Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines for PHP applications
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or New Relic
• Previous work on automated testing frameworks for PHP
