About the role

Ridgeline Software is preparing a major app store launch and needs a PostgreSQL Administrator to ensure the mobile backend is perfectly tuned. You will work closely with mobile engineers to synchronize data flows and guarantee high‑availability during peak traffic.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and optimize PostgreSQL clusters for mobile API workloads
• Implement replication and failover strategies aligned with mobile release schedules
• Collaborate with backend developers to design schema changes that support new app features
• Monitor performance metrics and fine‑tune queries for low latency
• Document configuration standards and handover procedures

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning
• Experience with replication, backup, and disaster recovery
• Solid understanding of mobile backend patterns and API design
• Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MongoDB or MySQL migrations
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker
• Previous work on app store release pipelines
