About the role

CloudWave Digital is seeking a Senior Terraform Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement robust IaC solutions for a high‑traffic web platform. You will lead the automation of AWS resources, ensuring scalability, security, and cost‑efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Terraform modules for core infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with architects to translate design specs into reproducible code.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning and updates.
• Perform code reviews and enforce best practices for IaC.
• Monitor environment health and troubleshoot provisioning issues.
• Document architecture diagrams and operational procedures.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of experience with Terraform on AWS.
• Strong understanding of networking, IAM, and security groups.
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Solid scripting skills (Shell, Python, or PowerShell).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm charts.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or CloudWatch.
