Key Responsibilities

• Editing a wide range of video content, including tutorials, product reviews, vlogs, and documentaries, using Adobe Premiere Pro and other editing software.
• Collaborating with writers, producers, and designers to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects.
• Working closely with the production team to ensure that all video content meets the highest standards of quality and is delivered on time.
• Developing and implementing visual effects, motion graphics, and animations to enhance the visual narrative of our videos.
• Color grading and sound designing videos to ensure that they meet our brand's aesthetic and technical standards.
• Ensuring that all video content is optimized for YouTube and other social media platforms.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in video editing and post-production.
• Experimenting with new techniques and tools to improve the efficiency and quality of our video editing process.
• Maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring that all project files and assets are properly labeled and stored.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, such as trailers and sneak peeks, to promote our videos and engage our audience.
• Providing feedback and guidance to junior editors and interns to help them develop their skills and expertise.
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and creative meetings to develop new ideas and concepts for video projects.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines to ensure that all projects are delivered on time.
• Communicating effectively with the team and stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a fast-paced environment such as a production house or a digital media company.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other editing software, such as Avid Media Composer and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of storytelling principles, narrative structure, and visual aesthetics.
• Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team, taking direction and feedback, and contributing to the development of projects.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions to complex problems.
• Knowledge of YouTube and other social media platforms, including optimization techniques and best practices.
• Certification in video editing or a related field, such as a degree in film or television production.
