About the role

Cascade Apps is revamping a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need a QA Software Tester to design and execute test strategies that guarantee zero‑downtime releases while modernizing the code base.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze legacy workflows and define test cases for migration paths
• Build automated regression suites with Selenium to cover critical user journeys
• Coordinate with developers to embed testing into CI pipelines
• Perform smoke, performance, and failover testing in staging environments
• Document defects, track resolution, and verify fixes promptly

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in manual and automated QA for web applications
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test framework integration
• Ability to design test plans that support zero‑downtime deployments
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
