About the role

BlueSky Ventures is expanding its data pipeline and analytics capabilities for operations teams. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code that powers our real‑time analytics stacks.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and codify AWS resources for data ingestion, processing, and storage using Terraform.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to automatically test and deploy Terraform modules.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure infrastructure aligns with pipeline performance targets.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and cost‑optimization best practices.
• Document module usage and handover procedures for ops teams.

Must-have skills

• Proficiency with Terraform for multi‑account AWS environments.
• Strong understanding of AWS services (S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Redshift).
• Hands‑on experience building CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Solid grasp of DevOps principles and infrastructure automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with data pipeline tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (IAM policies, KMS).
• Familiarity with observability stacks (CloudWatch, Grafana).
