About the role

NexGen Media is launching an integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs on AWS. We need a hands‑on AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and automate the data flows while ensuring security and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy secure VPCs, subnets, and IAM roles for integration services.
• Containerize micro‑services with Docker and orchestrate them using ECS or EKS.
• Build CI/CD pipelines in CodePipeline/CodeBuild for automated testing and deployment.
• Implement API Gateway and Lambda functions to bridge billing, CRM, and internal endpoints.
• Monitor performance and cost using CloudWatch and Trusted Advisor.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS core services (VPC, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Solid DevOps mindset with infrastructure‑as‑code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Linux system administration and scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures and step functions.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and billing systems.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana or Prometheus.
