Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems using Terraform, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management
  • Collaborate with our development team to ensure seamless integration with our applications, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure, including monitoring, logging, and incident response
  • Develop and maintain documentation for our cloud infrastructure, including architecture diagrams, technical guides, and operational procedures
  • Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure alignment with our company's cloud strategy and architecture
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for cloud security, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including 24/7 support for our cloud infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for our cloud infrastructure, including strategic planning and technical vision
  • Collaborate with our stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, including cloud-native services and serverless computing

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role, with a strong background in Terraform, AWS, and cloud infrastructure
  • Strong technical skills in Terraform, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management
  • Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, including IAM, Cognito, and security groups
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and CircleCI
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization, including cost monitoring, reporting, and optimization
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for cloud security, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR
