Key Responsibilities

• Create highly detailed and realistic 3D models from concept to completion, using software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
• Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and deliver models that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the latest 3D modeling techniques, software, and technologies.
• Participate in project planning, providing input on modeling requirements, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Work closely with animators and visual effects artists to ensure seamless integration of models into animations and visual effects shots.
• Conduct research and gather reference materials to ensure accuracy and authenticity in models.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve modeling techniques and workflows.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to promote a culture of learning and development.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring that their expectations are met or exceeded.
• Maintain a high level of organization, keeping track of project files, assets, and versions.
• Participate in reviews and critiques, receiving feedback and using it to improve the quality of work.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in 3D modeling, preferably in a digital design or animation environment.
• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling software, such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
• Excellent understanding of texture mapping, lighting, and rendering principles.
• Experience withUV unwrapping, normal mapping, and other advanced modeling techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality models under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git or Perforce.
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual design principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certification in 3D modeling or a related field is an asset.
