About the role

Silverline Labs is expanding its B2B SaaS platform with a new multi‑tenant feature set. We need a part‑time Database Administrator to ensure data integrity, performance, and security across shared environments. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to translate tenant isolation requirements into robust database designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement multi‑tenant schemas in PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL.
• Optimize queries and indexes for high‑concurrency workloads.
• Monitor replication, backups, and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Develop automated scripts for schema migrations and tenant onboarding.
• Collaborate on security hardening and compliance audits.

Must-have skills

• 3+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL in production.
• Experience with multi‑tenant architecture and data partitioning.
• Proficiency in SQL tuning, indexing, and query analysis.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud‑native database services (AWS RDS, Azure Cosmos DB).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for database changes.
• Understanding of GDPR and data residency requirements.
