About the role

Pinecrest Systems is scaling its product launch pipeline and needs a DevOps Engineer to drive a test automation uplift that lowers regression risk before each release. You will partner with QA and development teams to embed automated tests into CI/CD workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end test automation frameworks on AWS
• Integrate automated test suites into existing Kubernetes‑based pipelines
• Optimize Docker images for fast, reliable test execution
• Monitor test health metrics and proactively address flaky tests
• Document best practices and handover guides for sustained automation

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Hands‑on AWS services for compute, storage, and networking
• Solid understanding of test automation principles and frameworks
• Ability to script in Bash/Python for pipeline tasks

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools
• Knowledge of security testing integration
• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation
