DevOps Engineer for Mission-Critical Observability Stack Setup

About the role

NexGen Media is launching a focused sprint to accelerate releases through CI/CD and platform automation. We need a DevOps Engineer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune pipelines that enable rapid, reliable deployments across our cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines on AWS
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Containerize services using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance
• Collaborate with developers to embed security and testing into the workflow

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Hands‑on AWS knowledge, including IAM, EC2, and S3
• Infrastructure‑as‑code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Knowledge of security scanning tools (Snyk, Trivy)
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows
