Key Responsibilities
- Convert PDF files into editable Word documents while maintaining the original layout, formatting, and content integrity.
- Review and edit converted documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client specifications.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and address any conversion issues or discrepancies.
- Utilize document conversion software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in the conversion process.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of document conversion best practices, staying updated on new tools and technologies.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive client information, adhering to data protection policies and procedures.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in document conversion and related software.
- Contribute to the development of process improvements and efficiency enhancements in the document conversion workflow.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders regarding project status, timelines, and any issues that may arise.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team.
- Maintain organized records of converted documents and project files, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries related to document conversion projects and client feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience in document conversion, preferably in a professional services or publishing environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, and familiarity with document conversion software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in conversion work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with discretion.
- Basic understanding of data entry principles and practices, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software.
