About the role

Stellar Services is launching a new data‑driven product that relies on a performant GraphQL API. We need a developer who can design, implement, and optimise the API layer while collaborating with frontend engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop GraphQL schemas and resolvers
• Integrate with existing REST endpoints and external services
• Write clean, testable NodeJS code and ensure high performance
• Collaborate with React developers to align API contracts
• Document API usage and contribute to CI/CD pipelines

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with GraphQL and NodeJS
• Proficiency in building REST APIs
• Solid understanding of React integration patterns
• Ability to write unit and integration tests

Nice to have

• Experience with Apollo Server or similar tooling
• Familiarity with TypeScript
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)
