Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient PHP applications using Laravel framework
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that meets our high standards of quality
• Ensure that all applications are thoroughly tested and meet our quality assurance standards
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our coding standards and best practices
• Work closely with the QA team to identify and resolve defects and bugs
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all applications and systems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in PHP development and make recommendations for adoption
• Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to the planning and execution of sprint cycles
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment of applications to production environments
• Develop and maintain databases using MySQL, including database design and optimization
• Ensure that all applications are secure and compliant with industry standards and best practices
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production applications
• Contribute to the development of our company's technical capabilities and expertise in PHP development
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and interns

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on Laravel framework
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Laravel, with experience in developing scalable and efficient applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile development environments
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices
• Experience with database design and optimization, including MySQL
• Familiarity with front-end development frameworks, such as React or Angular, and experience with RESTful APIs
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
• Experience with testing frameworks, such as PHPUnit, and experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
