About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is enhancing its data platform and needs a MongoDB Specialist to design, optimize, and maintain high‑performance databases. You will work closely with developers to ensure data models support scalable application features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement MongoDB schemas tailored to application needs
• Optimize queries, indexes, and aggregation pipelines for speed and cost‑efficiency
• Monitor database health, perform backups, and ensure data security
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate MongoDB with Node.js services
• Provide guidance on best practices for data modeling and sharding

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with MongoDB administration and performance tuning
• Proficiency in JavaScript, NodeJS, and related ecosystem
• Understanding of data modeling, indexing, and aggregation
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and scripts

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or containerized deployments
• Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., Atlas, AWS DocumentDB)
