Node.js Developer for Service Layer Rewrite Upgrade

About the role

Silverline Labs is enhancing its release pipeline with a focused test automation uplift. We need a Node.js Developer to design and integrate automated regression suites that lower launch risk and speed up feedback loops.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement end‑to‑end test scripts for critical UI and API flows
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines and monitor results
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to prioritize high‑risk scenarios
• Maintain test data, environments, and reporting dashboards
• Document test strategies and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• Strong Node.js experience (NodeJS, Express)
• Proficient JavaScript coding and debugging
• Design and consume REST APIs
• Hands‑on with test frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest, Cypress)
• Understanding of CI/CD tools and version control

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud‑based testing platforms
• Familiarity with Docker containers for test environments
• Background in performance or load testing
