About the role

Summit Digital is preparing a coordinated mobile and backend launch for an upcoming app store release. We need a Node.js Developer who can bridge API work with mobile integration, ensuring smooth data flow and performance under tight timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful services that power mobile features
• Collaborate with iOS/Android engineers to align data contracts
• Optimize server performance for high‑concurrency mobile traffic
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability
• Maintain CI pipelines and monitor production health

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Proficient JavaScript coding and async patterns
• Building and securing REST APIs
• Understanding of mobile‑backend interaction patterns

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS Lambda or serverless deployments
• Experience with mobile push notification services
• Knowledge of GraphQL as an alternative API layer
