About the role

DataPro Services is enhancing its release pipeline by lifting test automation coverage. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to design, implement, and tune automated regression checks that lower launch risk.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain PostgreSQL test environments mirroring production schemas
• Integrate database state validation into CI/CD pipelines
• Develop scripts to generate realistic data sets for regression suites
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks during automated runs
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define coverage metrics

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning
• Experience scripting with Bash/Python for test data generation
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Understanding of database version control and migration practices

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MongoDB and MySQL ecosystems
• Background in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, pytest)
• Exposure to containerized database deployments
