About the role

We are launching a new SaaS product and need a Python Backend Developer to uplift our test automation suite. The goal is to reduce regression risk before each release by designing robust, maintainable automated tests that cover critical workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks using Python and pytest.
• Integrate test suites with CI pipelines to run on every build.
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to identify high‑risk areas.
• Maintain test data in PostgreSQL and ensure repeatable test environments.
• Document test cases, results, and provide clear failure analysis.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience.
• Proficiency with Django or similar web frameworks.
• Hands‑on with REST API testing and automation tools.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL queries.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker‑based test environments.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar CI systems.
• Background in performance testing or load simulation.
