About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a new SaaS platform and needs a QA Automation Engineer to design and implement end‑to‑end test suites. You will work closely with developers to ensure high‑quality releases throughout the short project timeline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and JavaScript.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Collaborate with developers to define test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects in the issue tracker.
• Perform regression testing and report coverage metrics.
• Provide clear test documentation and status updates.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for test scripting.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Solid grasp of software testing methodologies.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable test cases.

Nice to have

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with performance testing concepts.
