About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a sprint focused on CI/CD and platform automation to accelerate release cycles. We need a Freelance QA Software Tester who can design, execute, and maintain automated tests that keep the pipeline fast and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate Selenium test suites into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Design test cases for new automation features and platform updates.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed quality gates and reporting.
• Identify flaky tests, troubleshoot failures, and improve stability.
• Document test results and provide actionable feedback to developers.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in QA testing for CI/CD environments.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable test scripts.
• Understanding of version control and build tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) for test environments.
• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
