About the role

NovaForge Tech is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need a QA Software Tester to design and execute test strategies that guarantee zero‑downtime releases while the system is refactored for cloud scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end test plans covering critical transaction flows
• Automate regression suites with Selenium and integrate them into CI pipelines
• Perform risk‑based exploratory testing on new micro‑services
• Collaborate with developers to define testable acceptance criteria
• Monitor production metrics and validate roll‑out success without service interruption

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in manual and automated functional testing
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test frameworks
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
• Ability to write clear, concise test cases and defect reports

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
