QA Software Tester Needed for Scalable Release Gate Automation

About the role

NexGen Media is launching a rapid CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles. We need a QA Software Tester to design, execute, and maintain automated tests that keep quality high while speed increases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run Selenium‑based test suites for new CI pipelines
• Integrate automated tests into Jenkins/GitHub Actions workflows
• Identify flaky tests and improve stability of test environments
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed quality gates in deployment stages
• Document test cases, results, and recommendations for continuous improvement

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript or Java)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Ability to write clear, reusable test cases and debug failures

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerized test environments (Docker)
• Experience with performance or load testing tools
• Knowledge of API testing frameworks (Postman, RestAssured)
