About the role

We are building a micro‑service ecosystem to support a fast‑growing SaaS product. The team needs a focused REST API Developer to design, implement, and optimise HTTP endpoints that power core business workflows. You will work closely with product owners and front‑end engineers to deliver reliable, scalable services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using NodeJS and JavaScript
• Integrate with PostgreSQL for data persistence and query optimisation
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Document API specifications and usage guidelines
• Collaborate in code reviews and agile ceremonies

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+)
• Hands‑on work with PostgreSQL, including schema design
• Understanding of HTTP standards, authentication, and error handling

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerised deployments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of API versioning strategies
