About the role

Silverline Labs is launching a focused sprint to automate CI/CD pipelines and platform workflows for Android apps. We need an Android Developer who can design, implement, and refine automation scripts that accelerate release cycles while maintaining high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Build and integrate fast, reliable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Bitrise.
• Create Gradle scripts and custom plugins to streamline build, test, and deployment steps.
• Implement automated unit, UI, and instrumentation tests within the pipeline.
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize build environments and ensure reproducibility.
• Document pipeline architecture and provide knowledge transfer to the team.

Must-have skills

• Strong Kotlin and Java development experience for Android.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins).
• Proficiency in Gradle, Fastlane, and Android testing frameworks.
• Understanding of version control, code signing, and release management.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or container‑based build environments.
• Familiarity with Firebase App Distribution or Google Play internal tracks.
• Knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and modern Android architecture components.
