About the role

Vertex Analytics is launching an integration project to link its billing system, CRM, and internal APIs. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer who can design, implement, and automate the data pipelines that keep these services in sync.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy secure VPCs, subnets, and IAM roles for the integration workload.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Docker containers.
• Develop Lambda functions and Step Functions to orchestrate data flow between billing, CRM, and internal services.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch and X-Ray.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate business rules into scalable cloud solutions.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Strong DevOps mindset with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Solid Linux administration and scripting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating billing platforms (e.g., Stripe, Chargebee).
• Familiarity with CRM APIs such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth, JWT).
