Senior AWS Cloud Engineer Needed for Secure Auto-Scaling Setup

About the role

CloudWave Digital is launching a rapid CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune automated pipelines that deliver code faster and more reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines on AWS using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CloudFormation.
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate deployments via ECS or EKS.
• Implement infrastructure as code for repeatable environment provisioning.
• Integrate security scans, testing suites, and monitoring into the release flow.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize performance.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation).
• Proficient in Docker containerization and image management.
• Solid DevOps practices, including CI/CD tooling and automation.
• Linux administration and scripting expertise.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless frameworks.
• Knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring solutions like CloudWatch or Prometheus.
