About the role

LumenWorks is preparing a major app store launch that requires tight mobile and backend security alignment. We need a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to assess, design, and implement protective measures across the mobile API gateway and backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform threat modeling for mobile‑backend interaction points
• Conduct security code reviews of API endpoints and mobile SDKs
• Develop and enforce authentication and encryption standards
• Collaborate with dev teams to remediate vulnerabilities quickly
• Document security policies and incident response playbooks

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of mobile app security best practices
• Experience securing RESTful APIs and backend services
• Proficiency with Python scripting for security automation
• Hands‑on Linux system hardening and monitoring

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Top 10
• Experience with CI/CD security integrations
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks
