About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a full stack web developer who can audit, reinforce, and future‑proof both front‑end and back‑end layers against emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security reviews of existing React components and NodeJS services.
• Implement input validation, authentication hardening, and secure data handling.
• Refactor APIs to follow least‑privilege principles and enforce TLS everywhere.
• Integrate security testing tools into CI pipelines and address findings.
• Document hardening patterns for the team and provide knowledge transfer.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience securing React and NodeJS applications.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and secure coding practices.
• Hands‑on with MongoDB security features and access controls.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code and unit tests.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OWASP guidelines and threat modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) security services.
• Knowledge of container security and Docker hardening.
