Senior GraphQL API Developer Needed for High-Volume Webhook Integration

About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a greenfield SaaS product and needs a GraphQL API Developer to design the core data layer. You will work with a remote‑first team, shaping the API architecture from scratch while ensuring seamless integration with existing services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable GraphQL schema for the new platform
• Build resolver logic using NodeJS and integrate with REST endpoints
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define data contracts and optimize queries
• Set up authentication, authorization, and rate‑limiting mechanisms
• Write automated tests and contribute to CI pipelines

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building production‑grade GraphQL APIs
• Strong knowledge of React data consumption patterns
• NodeJS expertise with REST API integration
• Understanding of schema stitching and performance tuning

Nice to have

• Familiarity with serverless deployment (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
• Experience with TypeScript and Docker containers
