About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a Microservices Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable services that feed real‑time insights.

Key responsibilities

• Define microservice boundaries and communication patterns for data ingestion, processing, and analytics.
• Design containerized deployments using Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement robust API contracts and event‑driven workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, latency, and security.
• Document architecture decisions and provide guidance to development teams.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing microservice architectures for data‑intensive workloads.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Java ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of REST, gRPC, and message brokers.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with streaming platforms such as Kafka or Pulsar.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managed Kubernetes services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
