About the role
NexGen Media is launching a greenfield SaaS product for a remote‑first team. We need a .NET Core Developer to shape the backend architecture, implement core services, and ensure the platform scales from day one. You will work closely with product owners and UI engineers to deliver a high‑performance, cloud‑native solution.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build micro‑services using .NET Core and C#
- Implement RESTful APIs and event‑driven workflows on Azure
- Set up CI/CD pipelines and automated testing suites
- Collaborate on data modeling and storage strategies
- Provide technical guidance and code reviews for the growing team
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of professional .NET Core development
- Strong command of C# and Azure services (App Service, Functions, Cosmos DB)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
- Solid understanding of REST, gRPC, and message queues
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Terraform or ARM templates
- Knowledge of domain‑driven design principles
- Background in building SaaS platforms at scale
