About the role

We are launching a security hardening initiative for our cloud‑hosted applications. The Node.js Developer will design and implement robust safeguards, audit existing code, and integrate security best practices into our services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments of Node.js services and identify vulnerabilities.
• Refactor code to mitigate OWASP risks and enforce secure authentication.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and incident response hooks.
• Collaborate with DevOps to enforce secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Document security patterns and provide knowledge transfer.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript security pitfalls.
• Proficiency designing and securing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ability to write clean, testable code.

Nice to have

• Experience with container security tools.
• Knowledge of automated security scanning (Snyk, OWASP ZAP).
• Background in compliance frameworks (PCI, GDPR).
