About the role

Orbit Labs is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to rebuild the UI layer while ensuring zero‑downtime deployments. You will work closely with backend engineers to integrate new APIs and improve user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor and replace legacy Vue components with modern, type‑safe code
• Implement feature flags and blue‑green releases for seamless updates
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive, accessible interfaces
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests to guarantee stability during rollouts
• Optimize bundle size and performance for high‑traffic dashboards

Must-have skills

• Strong expertise in Vue.js (2.x and 3.x) and Vuex/Pinia
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and zero‑downtime deployment strategies
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and state management

Nice to have

• Familiarity with server‑side rendering (Nuxt.js)
• Knowledge of Webpack/Vite build optimizations
• Background in performance monitoring tools
